April 2, 2012

Programs 1 and 2 are now entering their second week of training.  You should have found your weights and numbers in week one and be ready to continue increasing poundage and intensity levels this week.

With the upcoming break, I suggest that individuals who wish to keep training and conditioning utilize the Tabata protocol of bodyweight movements to keep going.  If you have access to a gym, then utilize the archives in order to keep workouts going.  My suggestion for the time off is to select 2-3 of your most hated workouts and 2-3 of your favorite workouts and utilize those until we are back from Easter break.  Remember, just because school is out, it doesn't mean training stops.

If you are feeling a little burnt out, then utilize the time for some active recovery and get outside to enjoy the weather if and when it holds for us.
