A Salute to Women
As an athletic individual I have been involved in multiple sports throughout my life and been interested in more than I have participated in. Along with those sporting interests of my own, I have also watched many women in the same sports and in other different sports. When I first started Crossfitting I knew that women were involved in the sport and in the pursuit of fitness (the same as men). What I did not realize is how awesome some of those women can be, are and will be. As I said, I have seen women move in many different sporting endeavors and do so very well, but nothing quite prepared me for what I would witness them accomplish in the CrossFit gyms. Women can do so some seriously sick things. Check out these 2 videos that show a multitude of women throwing down and doing some seriously seriously impressive things.

To continue from yesterday, it's another thing I love about Conquest, it's a co-ed workout. It's nice to have ladies to work out with as they tend to be more positive, though no less competitive than dudes.
All the ladies of Conquest continue to blow me out of the water at the things they can do - Leanne can deadlift 215 lbs (maybe more?), that's awesome! Ever seen Kim do box jumps? Or Michaela do cleans? Meyer do pull ups? Then there's Liz, I can't believe how hard she can push herself, and Sue, who never, ever, quits. Jessica did her first full kipping pull up yesterday. I took me a year of training before I could do that!
You guys inspire me every day, and trust me it pushes me to go as hard as I can (if only to beat Meyer)!
You guys should make a Women of Conquest Video!
