Cleans....again

Is anyone getting the feeling that we are going to keep doing cleans until everyone shows a level of proficiency in the movement. Why such a desire to see this level of proficiency? Well, the answer exists in the fact that many of the movements require us to pick a load up from the ground and move it to front rack position. We do not have the luxury of having rack stands and therefore must pick things up in order to achieve the desired movements. The main problem that seems to exist with most people has to do with pulling early.
Pulling early refers to bending the elbows and pulling on the bar prior to fully engaging the hips and exploding through the bar. If we pull early we mute the ability to transfer force to the bar and make it More difficult to continue moving the bar in an efficient explosive upward path. When cleaning the weight you need to make sure that your hips are fully engaged and you are standing tall prior to pulling.

Here is a good video that will help you hopefully clean up the clean.
